Willows whiten, aspens quiver, Little breezes dusk and shiver Thro' the wave that runs for ever By the island in the river Flowing down to Camelot. Four gray walls, and four gray towers, Overlook a space of flowers, And the silent isle imbowers The Lady of Shalott.

so i’m mormon.
and i mean… really, quite seriously mormon. i am also an immense advocate for the lgbt community, and am a bit queer myself. i spend a great deal of time and energy reconciling those things and being open about both the religiously minded and advocacy minded parts of myself. i haven’t quite gotten it down yet. there are things that i don’t understand, and things that i tuck away depending on the company i’m keeping. often, it’s extremely frustrating. it’s also oddly isolating at times.
but today, i got the opportunity to walk with several hundred like-minded mormons in the pride parade.
it was beautiful.
This makes me happy.
